Simplair New A.2 Range Receives Comfort-Focused Update

We’re pleased to share a subtle but meaningful improvement to our Simplair range, developed in response to feedback from real-world users.

The new Simplair A.2 suits, hoods, and tank suits are now CE certified and feature a reconfigured air delivery system that routes over the top of the head, rather than around the sides of the face. While the update may appear minimal, it delivers a noticeable improvement for those wearing the system over long periods.

Key Benefits of the A.2 Configuration

• Clearer peripheral vision with nothing obstructing the side view

• Improved compatibility with radio headsets, enabling use of comms inside the hood

• Greater overall comfort and balance, with a design that feels less intrusive

This update brings the new A.2 system (hood, suit, and tank suit) into compliance with CE standards, ensuring the same high level of safety, performance, and regulatory assurance expected across the range.

The current Simplair A.E. models will remain available alongside the new A.2 range, offering customers continued access to the configuration they know and trust.

It’s not a complete redesign, but for those working long shifts, it’s a thoughtful and practical evolution.
