Liquid-Tight Cuff Systems

 

Single Elasticated Cuff

A simple sleeve with elastic at the wrist. Gloves are tucked inside the sleeve and for a liquid tight seal the wrists are taped.

Double Elasticated Cuff

A two layered sleeve with elastic at the wrist. Gloves are worn over the inner sleeve and tucked inside the outer sleeve. For a liquid tight seal the wrists are taped.

Soft Cuff

The sleeve ends in a rigid plastic ring with an o-ring and a rubber outer seal. A cone is inserted into the glove and the glove is then pushed firmly into the sleeve (from the inside of the garment) to create a liquid-tight seal.

Push-Fit Cuff

The sleeve ends in a flexible rubber ring. A ‘ribbed’ cone is inserted into the glove and the glove is then pushed into the sleeve (from the inside of the garment) and snaps into position to create a liquid-tight seal.

GAS-Tight Cuff Systems

 

Locking Cuff

Glove fitted from inside the sleeve

The sleeve ends in a rigid plastic ring with an o-ring. A cone is inserted into the glove and the sleeve turned inside out. The glove (and cone) is then pushed firmly into the sleeve and a threaded locking ring is then screwed in behind the glove, securely holding it in place and creating a gas-tight seal. The sleeve is then turned right side out

Reverse Locking Cuff

Glove fitted from outside the sleeve

The sleeve ends in a rigid plastic ring with an o-ring seal. A cone is inserted backwards into the glove and the glove (and cone) is then pushed firmly into the sleeve from the front. A threaded locking ring is then screwed in on top of the glove, holding it securely in place and creating a gas-tight seal.
