Organised by CBRNe World, this one-day event addresses the growing threat posed by nitazene and its analogues, a class of synthetic opioids now emerging in Europe. The workshop examines the challenge from three angles: detection, decontamination, and the health implications for those who may encounter the substance. With nitazene presenting an extremely narrow margin between an effective and a lethal dose, the event brings together first responders, military personnel, academics and scientific specialists from European and NATO partner nations to share knowledge and develop practical approaches to this evolving threat.
