RJS Clinical Suit

The Respirex RJS Powered Respirator Suit is a one piece liquid-tight chemical protective suit for designed for medical personnel and emergency responders. The Clinical Versionincorporates medical gloves and integral overshoes for use with shoes worn inside the suit. An emergency breather with P3 filter is fitted at the shoulder as a failsafe during casulaty transport. 

The suit is manufactured from Chemprotex™ 300, a high performance, five layer, nonwoven, chemical barrier fabric that is light weight with a spunbonded lining for wearer comfort.

  • Respiratory system comprising a belt mounted battery powered CleanAIR®Chemical 2Fpowered respirator 
  • Visual display unitmounted inside the suit at the base of the visor, and audible alarm
  • Emergency Breatheron shoulder with P3 filter. 
  • Semi-rigid laminated visorfor clear undistorted vision 
  • Chest zip with double storm flapand hook and loop fastener - no taping is required to seal 
  • Twin CleanAIR®filterswith splash guard cover fitted externally at the rear (range of filters available) 
  • Push-fit cuff and conesystem for use with medical gloves 
  • Integral overshoe with a non-slip soleand elasticated ankle for use with footwear worn inside the suit
  • Two exhalation valvesabove the knees maintain a comfortable working pressure inside the suit 
  • Adjustable internal support belt 
  • Ten year shelf-life, with a suit inspection and test every three years
